VARSITY SOFTBALL FIELD NEEDS:

Field Improvements:
1. Field scraped and crowned. Additional diamond dust needed – (30-40 yards).
2. Remove infield/outfield lip (DONE)
3. Irrigation system – for grass and infield (field does not dry appropriately because it has not been watered and the infield is like concrete; safety issue for girls)
4. Field rake needs to be repaired (new support arm replaced or old one welded)
5. Fence improvements
a. Third base line pulled out and moved left.
b. New gate installed on first base side to allow for tractor to drive through.
c. New latches on both gates, currently broken.
d. Need to fence in visitors warm-up pitching area (currently exposed; safety issue for fans)
6. Dugouts – need new roofing and trim fixed
7. New tractor needed – engine issues; not enough power to pull needed grating and tinning equipment.

Batting cage:
1. Rebuild pitching mound – remove box and add pitching rubber (DONE)
2. New backstop needed – rugs have torn and bottom boards need to be secured and more height added.
3. Purchase new netting – many holes
4. Pitching machine needs to be replaced and new pitching balls needed

Press box and toilets:
1. Existing press box decayed and needs to be replaced.
a. Need storage area for tractor and field supplies (currently housed in home dugout)
2. No toilets at varsity softball field. Would like to incorporate into new press box – only varsity field without toilets
3. New sound system needed; only partially functional

YOUTH SOFTBALL FIELD NEEDS:

Field Improvements:
1. Field scraped and crowned for both Schavey Road softball fields. Additional diamond dust needed – (20- 30).
2. Fencing needs to be extended along third base and first base lines on both fields; safety risk to spectators.
3. Temporary outfield fencing needed for both Schavey Road fields (to make compliant for U10-U12 games).
4. Dugouts for at least Schavey Road north field.
5. Electronic scoreboard for Schavey Road north field.
